At our company you may be responsible for:
- Lead product development activities
- Ownership of product template BOD
- Participation in Benchmark activities
- Understand customer requirements and interface to customer to define requirements
- Responsible for drawings release, order prototypes, perform testing and coordinate validation
- Responsible for DFMEA and DSS preparation for assigned components
- Improve cost, function, performance of assigned components
- Explain product design for best method of manufacture, propose changes to improve product and design manufacturability
- Initiate and support continuous improvement, cost improvement and problem-solving activities related to design
- Interface with technical centers, customers and suppliers for engineering changes
- Provide product expertise to support manufacturing for appropriate product
We expect from you the followings:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of engineering experience
- Hands-on experience with DFMEA, GD&T, PLM systems, and engineering standards
- Proficiency in CAD/CAE tools (Solid Edge, NX, AutoCAD) and strong mechanical knowledge, including gear mesh design
- Experience or strong interest in automotive product design (prior product design experience is a plus)
- Six Sigma / DFSS certification preferred
- Strong analytical, communication, and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects across cross-functional teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
